Sitting here thinking about life
and
Where it's brought me thus far
Made some mistakes
Made some wrong turns
Now I'm here
And I am not afraid
Not afraid of anyone
Not man
Not God
No, not even God
For I know him in an intimate way
The bible says fear the Lord
Why?
He will never leave me or forsake me
He's not going to hurt me
I am not afraid of his loving grace
Or to be in his presence
I welcome the Lord
I yearn for his comfort
Forever I will always be
Inclined in such a way
God,
I thank you for this day
For breath in my body
Breathing in and out
It is here
I will always stay.
